Terms of Trade
Welcome to the Cas-Pak website (the “Site”) owned and operated by Cas-Pak Products Ltd (“Cas-Pak Products Ltd”, “we” or “us”). Please take the time to review our basic terms that govern the purchase of items and your use of the Site. Use of the Site constitutes your agreement to follow and accept these terms (the “Agreement”). If you disagree with these terms, you must discontinue using the Site.
Purchaser shall pay for any and all unrecoverable costs resulting from the cancellation of any order.
Provision of Information
The onus is on the purchaser to ensure that the correct information is provided to Cas-Pak. This includes name, address, contact numbers and email addresses. Furthermore, when ordering items, you will be required to provide payment details and you represent and warrant that the payment details you provide on ordering are both valid and correct, and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the billing information provided.
By providing this information, you expressly authorise us to perform credit checks and, where Cas-Pak feels necessary, to transmit or to obtain information (including any updated information) about you to or from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to your credit card number or credit reports to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.
Cas-Pak accepts no liability or responsibility for issues or costs arising from incorrect information being supplied.
Items available on the Site are able to be viewed in New Zealand dollars only and are GST exclusive. All prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time subject as provided otherwise in accordance with these purchasing items. Prices are exclusive of delivery charges. Delivery charges are added to your items prior to payment.
Methods of Payment
Payment can be made via Visa, Master Card or by direct credit into the Cas-Pak account:
Credit card payments will be debited and cleared from your account upon receipt of your order by Cas-Pak. All credit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to Cas-Pak, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Funds transfer will involve you arranging payment of funds from your account into our account. Once the money has been received, you will receive an email from us confirming this and acknowledging the details of your order.
Purchasers who transfer money from overseas to our New Zealand bank account are to include all bank fees incurred to process the transaction at both ends, short payment will result in product delivery delays until the correct monies are paid.
Cas-Pak shall not be responsible or liable in any way to the Purchaser for delays or defaults in delivery of the order of any part of it nor for any direct or consequential loss or damage arising from any such delay or default. Delay or default in delivery does not entitle the Purchaser to cancel any order.
The goods are delivered EX WORKS.
The goods travel at the client’s risk and responsibility. Any shortages must be signalled at the moment of delivery by the courier.
The Customer is responsible for arranging all possible re-export permissions.
The Customer is responsible for all duties, tariffs, taxes and other government fees and payments outside New Zealand
Cas-pak only delivers to all commercial addresses domiciled in New Zealand
We will use Now Couriers and national trucking firms for all freight requirements based on the area and the size of the delivery and freight charges are reflected accordingly. Please note all rural delivery does incur additional charges.
Six Delivery Rate options are available when you check out your order and before the confirmation of your order. The options are as follows:
- Local Main centres including Albany / Papakura /Massey/ Howick/ CBD/Orewa/ Whangaparoa/ Pukekohe/ Tuakau/ Waiuku/ Helensville/ Maraetai/ Beachlands
- Rest of North Island
- South Island
- Rural Local outside Local main centres
- Rural North Island – outside North Island main centres
- Rural South Island – outside South Island main centres

For all North Island deliveries, please allow 3 days from receipt of payment. Rural deliveries will cost extra and allow an extra 3-4 days.
For all South Island deliveries, please allow 5 days from receipt of payment. Rural deliveries will cost extra and allow an extra 3-4 days.
The above delivery times are suggestions only. Cas-Pak does not guarantee delivery within a set time period. If the item is delayed or does not reach you within the period suggested by Cas-Pak, please advise us and we will track the status of the item for you.
An express delivery service is available for an extra charge. Please contact us on (09) 421 9019 should you wish to use this service.
Cas-Pak must be advised of returns within 7 days from the date you received the item(s). In order to qualify for an exchange or refund, purchasers must comply with Cas-Pak’s Returns Policy.
Certain items will be deemed not returnable such as Customised product and specials.
Reasonable return freight costs will be reimbursed in case of defective or incorrectly sent items only and will be credited using the same method as used to pay for the order.
Our site is aimed at customers who have already purchased or are familiar with the products, in regards to the application and properties of the product. If you are not sure about the application please contact us with your questions prior to ordering.
If the wrong product has been ordered then you can still return for a full refund of the product only excluding freight but please note that the items must be unopened and unused in the original packaging. Should the packaging be deemed tampered in any way or damaged in any way no refund will be given and the product will be returned to you. A handling fee may incur. No refund of freight charges will be issued and the product return is at customer’s liability.
How to return an Item
Download the Returns form. The returns form will need to be completed and sent to us within 3 days from receipt of product with the Return Number issued by the Cas-Pak customer service team member.
Fill in the downloaded Returns form and contact the customer service team on 09 421 9019 or 0800 725 776, so we can review your return request and provide you with a return number should it be accepted.
All returned items must be returned to Cas-Pak within 14 days of the date you received the item using your return number issued at the time of your return request.
- PLEASE NOTE: NO Returns will be accepted outside the above time frames or without a return number.
- Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for specials, unique items or change of mind reasons.
- Please check orders carefully, prior to use as opened products can NOT be returned under our HACCP Food Safety program.
Changing an Order
If you would like to change an order that you have just placed, please call us on 09 421 9019 within 12 hours of the order. We will do everything we can to accommodate your request. Items that have already been sent will need to comply with our Returns Policy.
Limitation of Liability
The Purchasers sole remedy and the limit of Cas-Pak’s liability for any loss whatsoever shall not exceed the purchaser’s price of the product(s). The determination of suitability of products to the specific needs of the Purchaser is solely the Purchasers responsibility.
The goods are delivered EX WORKS therefore the products travel at the client’s risk and responsibility. Any shortages must be signalled at the moment of delivery by the courier and Cas-Pak will only be responsible for providing ticket numbers of the sent products.
Guarantees and Conditions
Except as provided in these terms no representation, warranty or condition shall be implied against Cas-Pak (including but not limited to those conferred in the Sale of Goods Act 1908), unless it is in writing and signed by Cas-Pak. The Purchaser acknowledges that the Seller does not provide any express guarantees (as defined in the Consumers Guarantees Act 1993) other than those expressly confirmed by Cas-Pak in writing.
